The controller of your personal data is Apartman Vida ((to be completed)). For any privacy question contact booking@apartmanvida.com.

Booking and stay: data needed for the contract, payment and service, and data we must collect by law (guest registration in the Croatian eVisitor system, tourist tax). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. Retention periods are set by law (e.g. accounting and tax rules).
Accounting and tax: issuing invoices and keeping books. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Visit measurement (Google Analytics 4): only with your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 100 of the Croatian Electronic Communications Act. You can withdraw consent at any time with the “Cookies” button in the footer.
Server logs (IP address, time and URL of the request, browser): for security and correct operation, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Kept for 14 days.
3. Chat assistant
The chat assistant runs in your browser and answers from information already on the page. What you type into it is not sent to a server or stored. Please do not enter health data or other special categories of data.
4. Recipients
We do not sell data. It may be received by: our hosting and e‑mail provider (RiNET, servers in the European Union); our accountant; authorities and the tourist board where the law requires; Booking.com B.V. if you book through Booking (a separate controller, their rules apply); Google (Google Ireland Limited) for Analytics, only with consent; the OpenStreetMap Foundation when you open the map on click (your browser then loads map tiles directly and so shows your IP address).
5. Transfers outside the EU
Data from the form and e‑mail stays in the EU. If you accept analytics cookies, Google may transfer data to the US under the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. Send requests to booking@apartmanvida.com; we reply within one month.
You may lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.
7. Automated decisions
We do not use automated decision‑making or profiling that produces legal effects for you.
8. Security
The site and form use an encrypted connection (HTTPS); access to data is limited to those who need it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always on this page with its date.
