Day trips from Klenovica: islands, Senj and national parks

Klenovica is a good base: the islands of Krk, Rab and Pag and the national parks Northern Velebit, Risnjak and Plitvice Lakes are all nearby.

What is closest?

Novi Vinodolski is about 10 km to the north-west, and in the other direction lies Senj, a town known for letting you enjoy both sea and mountains on the same day.

Which islands should you visit?

Krk, Rab and Pag are the classic trips. For Pag there is a short ferry link, Prizna–Žigljen, covered in a separate article.

What about the national parks?

Northern Velebit, Risnjak and Plitvice are day trips, but each needs a plan. Check opening hours and tickets on the park's official website before you set off.
